Sometimes repair work, a special event or service means that access to all or parts of the cathedral may be limited. Knowing that many people often travel from a distance to visit, the cathedral tries to minimise these times and includes information for people planning their visit on the Opening Times page of the Durham Cathedral website. You can also contact the visitor desk at Durham Cathedral on visitor.desk@durhamcathedral.co.uk or 0191 338 7178.
