Auckland Palace is one of the best-preserved bishop's palaces in Europe, once home to the powerful Prince Bishops of Durham.

Today Auckland Palace is a thriving visitor attraction and part of The Auckland Project's unique collection of heritage attractions, gardens and galleries in the historic town of Bishop Auckland.

Auckland Palace offers stunning venues including the Old Library and the Bishop's Kitchen.

1) Full of character and historic charm, the Old Library in Auckland Palace is the ideal space for small events, conferences and dinners.

2) Once the medieval kitchen of Auckland Palace, the Bishop’s Kitchen is now an adaptable space which can be used for conferences, evening events and dinners.

The Auckland Project is a regeneration charity with a difference, working alongside the people of Bishop Auckland to make the town a better place to live, work and visit. By hosting your event at Auckland Palace you will be helping to build a brighter future for Bishop Auckland.
