While Lord and Lady Byron married in the room back in 1815, it is their daughter Ada Lovelace that is the inspiration behind the new suite.

Known as an influential mathmetician, writer and considered the world's first computer programmer, Ada was something of a 19th Century revolutionary. 

The luxurious suite highlights Ada's achievements in its artwork and decor, showcasing her famous portrait and carrying a soft elegance into the interior. The sumptuous colours and delicate materials of lilac, blue and appropriately enough - lace, have been translated into the room fabrics and finishes, along with luxurious velvet textures and dainty floral wallpapers.

The grand split-level suite features a daring glazed bathroom and mirrored boudoir, elevated sleeping mezzanine overlooking a generous lounge with bathing deck for two mischievous slipper baths sitting in front of the stunning Georgian windows overlooking the Seaham Estate and sea beyond.
