Road Directions

From the A1(M) motoway junction 62 take the A690 dual carriageway towards Durham. Leave the A690 at the first exit left towards Belmont. At the traffic lights at the end of the exit slip road turn left then follow this road staight to the guest house, first set of lights right hand lane and staight on, at mini roundabout take first exit, cross over the motorway, round the left hand bend there is a set of pedestrian traffic lights then The Belmont pub is on the left at the road junction. Moor End Guest House is next door to the Belmont

Public Transport Directions

Moor End Guest House is a ten minute bus ride from Durham bus station. Take the purple coloured 20, 20A or X20 bus service from Stand 1 towards Sunderland/South Shields, alighting at Belmont Sportsmans Arms (now called The Belmont). Buses run every ten minutes during the day and every half hour in the evening till 23.30 hrs. The bus fare as at Sept 18 is £1.60 single or £3.00 return.

A taxi from the city centre is approximately £6.00.
