The apartment is on the second floor of a brand new development at The Grange in Gilesgate. On entry there is a hallway with a door to the left leading to a large open plan lounge, kitchen/diner with lots of space for guests to enjoy meals together and relax. Off from the lounge is a twin bedroom which can be converted into a double bed on request. Over from the twin bedroom is a light and airy bathroom with shower and bath tub. The master bedroom is at the end of the hall way which is a large and modern space with double bed which can be converted into twin beds on request. There is an ensuite bathroom with shower. In the hall way are two large cupboards giving plenty of space for guests to store coats and shoes etc..
There are supermarkets such as Tesco and Aldi within easy walking distance as well as some fantastic pubs on the doorstep such as The Laundrette, The Hop Knocker, The Queens and The Shoes. There are takeaways close by with Bells Fish and Chip shop minutes walk from the front door and an Indian takeaway and Papa Johns Pizzeria directly opposite. Durham City is around 20 minutes walk but there is a bus stop just outside the apartment with busses going into the city and up to the Arnison shopping centre every 10 minutes.
The apartment is also close to the A690 and has great links to the motorway.
