Spring is a wonderful time of year to visit Durham with nature bursting into new life.

Spring 2024 also brings with it an exciting line up of events and festivals, including the return of Fire & Ice Festival in Durham City, and Bishop Auckland Food Festival. Plus, many attractions which closed for winter begin to re-open with a wonderful line-up of activities and new exhibitions to enjoy, including New Hall at Locomotion and the exciting Rising developments at Raby Castle.
