A warm and cosy cottage, in the heart of the village a perfect base for experiencing the beauty of the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of footpaths and cycle trails meandering through the beautiful Durham Dales and North Pennines, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within easy reach of the Lake District and Northumberland (Hadrians Wall). Pets are welcome, maximum of 2 dogs. A pub opposite with their own micro brewery and home cooked food (now only open Thursday to Sunday).
The cottage has been recently renovated, with controllable heaters, usb sockets and high speed broadband with smart TV. Games room is insulated and has a heater with dartboard and pool table. Modern up to date area in the garden with seating and barbecue. Also to note there is an outside toilet and sink for your convenience.
Mass of information left in the lounge detailing walks, maps and things to do in the area.
Wooden box with old fashioned games can be found in the lounge. Basket of logs to enjoy the wood burner in the lounge.
Enjoy a costa coffee from the tassimo machine and drink from the Alex Clark mugs (local artist if you like the mugs can be purchased in Stanhope from the Lime Gallery).
Will find white egyptian linen on the beds and fluffy white towels.
