The Space
Town House is a relatively new build so you can expect modern interiors and furnishings throughout.
Once inside the property, you’ll be welcomed into the cosy living and dining area. With neutral tones, a sofa and armchair, this space feels snug and welcoming. Soft furnishings are added through the abundance of cushions. A home from home, you can cuddle up with your loved ones in this space and enjoy quality time together. There is a TV with Freeview so you can keep on top of your favourite shows during your stay.
A great place to socialise, the dining table is located at the rear of the living space. With four matching comfy dining chairs, the dining area is both contemporary and comfortable.
With light wooden cabinets, smooth wood effect worktops and a white splashback, the kitchen is an immaculately presented space. Fully equipped for all stays, the kitchen boasts an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster. It also includes the added luxury of a dishwasher.
Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find the two bedrooms and bathroom. With a comfortable and relaxing feel, the first bedroom is cosy and welcoming. There is fantastic storage space, bedside lamps and light coloured walls. You’ll enjoy your nights’ sleep at Town House as the double bed boasts the finest quality bedding and linens.
From the master bedroom, you step up into an ensuite shower room. This space features a walk-in rainfall shower, handheld shower, WC and basin.
The second bedroom has another comfy double bed with plush bedding and crisp linens. Storage space is offered in the form of a bedside chest of drawers, and you’ll also find a lamp and mirror in the space.
The family bathroom is an ultra clean and modern space. It boasts a bathtub, WC and basin.
Head outside and you’ll find a small, decked private garden area - a real bonus to guests staying at Town House.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Neighborhood
Seaham is a lively harbour town located on Durham’s Heritage Coast. You’ll be spoiled by brilliant views in the town, whether it be looking out to sea or admiring one of England’s oldest churches, St Mary’s.
The sea front is home to ‘Tommy’ the World War I statue, as well as the heritage and lifeboat centre where George Elmy is on display all year round. Continue wandering along the sea front and you’ll find a whole host of bars, cafes and restaurants.
The sandy North Beach is great for families as it has rock pools and an all-round inviting feel. With ice cream and souvenir stalls, fun is guaranteed in Seaham.
If walking is your thing, begin by enjoying the views of Seaham Harbour before embarking on a hike along the coastal footpath where the views are to die for.
For those into shopping, you can enjoy a day at The Metro Centre, Europe's largest indoor mall-style shopping centres, conveniently situated beside the A1 in Gateshead.
Getting Around
Town House is located close to everything Seaham has to offer. The beach is 25-minute walk away from the property and can be reached in no time at all on foot.
Seaham train station is nearby. With stops in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Newcastle, and connecting routes to York and locations further afield, you’ll be ideally placed to explore the North East and North Yorkshire.
