The Smithy is our magnificent bar and restaurant space at Runa Farm. Menus at The Smithy have a true field to fork focus that centres around the use of high-quality, locally grown produce with dishes that switch with the seasons. As such, we invite diners to experience the hospitality of a small working north east family farm whilst feasting on the region’s seasonal harvest and sharing memorable experiences with family and friends.
Sustainable and ethical farming is super important to us, which means maintaining the highest levels of animal welfare and minimising the impact on our environment… and don’t even get us started on the slow food culture!
