Located in the rolling countryside of lower Teesdale, just between Barnard Castle and Darlington, sits the picturesque hamlet of Headlam and the superb 17th Century Headlam Hall Hotel & Spa, a Jacobean country manor which overlooks its own rolling farmland estate, standing in four acres of beautiful walled gardens.
Headlam Hall is a superb, exclusive-use only, venue for your special day. As an independent family owned business, Headlam Hall has a core philosophy of offering individual and personal service that is re-enforced by the policy to only accommodate weddings on an exclusive-use basis where the wedding party take over the Main Hall, Coach House and 30 bedrooms for a 24 hour period.
The Coach House Suite accommodates up to 120 guests and is a unique room characterised by its huge arched glass ceiling and stunning chandeliers. Civil ceremonies can also be held in the Coach House Suite, or under the Pagoda which overlooks the lawn. There are options for BBQs and live entertainment to make this a memorable occasion. Please note that Headlam Hall only accommodates a maximum of one exclusive-use wedding per month.
