Located in the rolling countryside of lower Teesdale, just between Barnard Castle and Darlington, sits the picturesque hamlet of Headlam and the superb 17th Century Headlam Hall Hotel & Spa, a Jacobean country manor which overlooks its own rolling farmland estate, standing in four acres of beautiful walled gardens.
Headlam Hall is a superb venue for your special day, and as an independent family owned business, Headlam Hall has a core philosophy of offering individual and personal service that is re-enforced by the policy to only host one wedding a day.
The elegant Drawing Room can accommodate up to forty guests for a reception and opens onto the stepped terrace overlooking the grand main lawn. The impressive Coach House Suite accommodates up to 150 guests and is a unique room characterised by its huge arched glass ceiling and stunning chandeliers. Civil ceremonies can also be held in the Coach House Suite, or under the Pagoda which overlooks the lawn.
