This unique Visitor Information Point, situated within the Customer Service Reception at Dalton Park.
Although the VIP is unmanned, the reception staff have extremely good knowledge of the local area and take pride in answering visitors' questions. They have also participated in product knowledge training in order to prepare for their extended visitor information role. More complex requests for assistance with things like accommodation, tickets and county-wide information will be directed to the Durham Visitor Contact Centre.
A wide range of tourist information leaflets and maps can also be picked up during normal opening hours.
