Small Stories (Under 5s)
We are free to visit and open to everyone, providing a warm welcome to visitors of all ages, including children and family groups.
Take your little one on an adventure through the history of County Durham! Each half-term we will focus on a different section of The Story’s collections and exhibition. Join us in our Learning Studio at The Story as you journey through time and discover a new theme every week with your little one. Handle historical objects, hear stories, learn and play together at Small Stories.
This half-term is all about ‘Perceptions’. For the next 7 weeks discover how County Durham has grown and changed from the first railways to buried stories using imaginative play, crafts and music. All sessions require booking.
