About
In 2024 we are marking the four quarters of the Wheel of the Year with small Festival-style celebrations, on the weekend nearest to the actual date of each festival.
December brings us the Winter Solstice, or Yule, with the shortest daylight hours of the year and the depth of winter. This is the birth of the New Year and another turn of the Wheel, as the light increases from this point forward.
Join us for a celebration of gratitude for this seasonal milestone as we acknowledge and show our gratitude for life on Earth and the precious gifts each season brings us.
Set outdoors in the meadows, woodland and orchards we gather to explore activities relevant to the season.
We'll learn about what each celebration means and how we are connected to the natural world at these special times of year.
We will hear tales of our ancestors and the folklore that surrounds the seasonal celebration.
We'll share live music, stories, poetry, song, conversation, good food and refreshing drinks.
Family activities will include bushcraft, art making, treasure hunt, music making, and there will be time for crafts, guided meditations, chanting, sound bathing, forest bathing, tree hugging, drumming in circle, guided meditations, breathing exercises, chanting, and setting of intentions for the months ahead.
As we share these seasonal celebrations together, we will forge new friendships, and discover new horizons.
Early Bird Tickets are available until the end of September.
