Terms & Conditions

The winner(s) will be drawn at random by the Promoter (Visit County Durham) within four working days of the competition closing date. The winner(s) will be notified by email within one week of the winner being drawn. The winner(s) must notify Visit County Durham of their acceptance of the prize within five working days of notification. In the event of non-response or non-acceptance within the specified time period, the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next randomly drawn valid entry.

• Prize redeemable on stays Sunday to Thursday until 30 April 2025 excluding the following dates:

• Excluding 14-16 Feb, 11 - 28 April.

• Subject to availability. No cash alternative. Pre-booking required.

Raby Estates

• Prize includes a stargazing supper for two guests, subject to availability.

• Prize is as stated and non-transferable; no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

• Prize must be redeemed within 12 months.

Ushaw

• A discount code will be provided to the winner, who can redeem through the ushaw.org website.

• Subject to availability.

• Prize must be redeemed within 6 months.

Locomotion

• Goody Bag must be collected from Locomotion in person. Please let Locomotion know when you will be arriving to collect.

• Goodie bag prefilled and there won’t be opportunity to swap items.

Beamish Museum

• Voucher valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

• Passes valid for 12 months from date of voucher redemption.

• The Beamish Unlimited Pass is valid for 1 whole year from the date of purchase, and includes daytime events, ensuring you do not miss any of the exciting activities that Beamish has to offer.

• The pass covers entry for 2 adults.

The Bowes Museum

• Prize is valid for two people one year from end date of competition – 31/0/2/25

• Prize is subject to availability.

• Prize includes entry to the Museum, tour of the Museum and afternoon tea for two.

• Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable.

• No cash alternative is available.

• The winner will be selected at random from correct entries submitted.

Dalton Park

• The prize is the following: £50 Dalton Park Gift Card.

• No purchase necessary

• No cash alternatives or substitutions, the prize is not transferable, non-refundable and no change will be given.

• The winner must collect their prize in person from the Guest Services at Dalton Park and the prize must be redeemed within one year from the notification of winning.

• The winner will be drawn at random and will be notified via Visit County Durham.

• Dalton Park reserves the right at its sole discretion to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.  Entrants must not publicly behave in such as a way as to constitute abuse, defamation, harassment, threatening behaviour, or have harmful intent, of, or towards others.

• Incomplete, partial and duplicate entries will be excluded from the competition.

• Employees of Dalton Park, their agents and families, suppliers and associated companies are excluded from entering.

• The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• Winners’ names and towns will be available on request.

• In the event of any dispute regarding these terms and conditions Dalton Park’s and Visit County Durhams decisions shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

• Dalton Park does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting the prize.

• These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

• Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party without the entrant’s prior consent other than as indicated by these Terms and Conditions.

• Dalton Park reserves the right to amend the terms of this competition at any time.

The Auckland Project

• Unlimited Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

• Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be redeemed once.

• Unlimited Passes are non-transferrable.

It is a condition of entry that the terms and conditions are accepted as final and that entrants agree to abide by the rules.
The Promoter will not accept responsibility for loss of entries through technical fault or transmission delays, or due to incomplete or illegible submissions. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
No correspondence will be entered into.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
