You are here > Home > Things to Do > Noses Point - Connecting the Coast
The walk at Nose’s Point is accessible for most people, it has a firm surface and gentle gradients, and no steps, stiles or barriers. It offers fabulous views of the coast.
This walk connects to the King Charles III England Coast Path. This path is being developed and will soon go all the way around the coast of England. The section in Durham is fully open and provides wonderful views of the cliffs, beaches and coastal wildlife. This area has changed beyond all recognition. The beach is called ‘Blast Beach’ after the blast furnaces that dumped waste on to it for years. Today, pause for a while, enjoy the tranquillity and watch the seabirds. Take care on the coast, follow local signs and keep back from the cliff edge.
