Hello, I am a qualified Blue Badge Guide of Northumbria (North East England), a Durham City, Durham Cathedral Guide.I also offer Durham University Colleges and Campus Orientation Tours . I am based in beautiful Northumberland. I am passionate about my region, offering a friendly, professional, organised tour service, delivering this with fun and enthusiasm. I also offer a meet and greet service, bespoke tour design, or will carry out your own themed tours.  Tours I offer can include: The Northumbrian Coastline, Castles, Houses and Gardens of Northumberland and Durham, Private Gardens of Northumberland and Durham, The Cradle of Christianity, The Border Reivers, Newcastle City and Quayside Walking Tours, Durham City Walking Tours and less well known places throughout Northumbria.

I have worked extensively in this region for many years providing tours to the business and leisure sectors, including VIP tours, cruise and tour operators, professional retired groups and school groups. I am also a qualified horticulturalist, garden host and horticultural lecturer, leading garden tours in the UK and Europe.

For many years I worked as a freelance accompanying officer for the Foreign Office, promoting tourism and inward investment projects in the North  East region. I am competent to assist with such visits.
