The walking challenges are split into 4 categories, Rainbow, Bronze, Silver and Gold. The walks progress in difficulty and length, with the Rainbow Award been designed specifically for young families up to the Gold Award, targeted at experienced hill walkers.
As well as the challenge of the individual walks there is also the opportunity to complete several of the walks and gain a certificate through doing so. More details on the challenge walks website.
