Firework spectacular set to light up the north east again in 2024
30th September 2024
Tickets are on sale now for the North East’s biggest fireworks spectacular. The ever-popular show, Pyromusical, returns to Bishop Auckland on Saturday 2nd November 2024.
Now in its sixth year, the unmissable multi-sensory celebration will see fireworks illuminate the night sky above the seven-and-a-half-acre outdoor stage, perfectly timed to a score of toe-tapping music that all ages will enjoy.
Visitors can expect an immersive experience, as they look up to the November night sky and are wowed by the expertly designed dance of colours, patterns and surprises whilst they listen to music from the past five decades, which is skilfully matched with the beautiful bursts of pyrotechnics.
The 8,000-seater tribune means all spectators will have a view and a comfy perch for the duration of the 25-minute display. Choreographed by the pyrotechnics team which produce Kynren’s epic fireworks finale, families can hunker down and enjoy the awe-inducing and heart-pounding display, with Auckland Castle set on the hill in the stunning backdrop.
Anna Warnecke, CEO of Kynren, said: “After previous sell out years, we’re expecting Pyromusical 2024 to be another dazzling and unforgettable event, showcasing the talent and creativity here in Bishop Auckland. We invite audiences new and returning to soak up the autumnal spirit, get wrapped up in coats and layers and join us for a memorable evening with family and friends.”
Visitors can make an evening of Pyromusical and welcome the cooler and darker evenings whilst gathering around the toasty fire pits dotted around the park. Enjoy a pre-show menu of warming options like hotdogs, popcorn, mulled wine, and hot chocolate to help keep people cosy during the crisp November air.
The performance starts promptly at 7pm on Saturday 2nd November. Gates open from 4:15pm and visitors are advised to arrive before 6:15pm to ensure there is sufficient time to take to their seats before the Pyromusical begins.
Tickets are on sale now and are likely to sell out again, so firework fans are advised to secure tickets early to avoid disappointment and missing out on the spectacular Pyromusical in Bishop Auckland.
Ticket prices are £12 for adults and £6 for under-18s (children three and under are free when sat on an adult’s knee). A shuttle bus service will be available from Bishop Auckland bus station, priced at £3 per person.
